Larry Corbett and Jerre Stead met in 1997 when the Steads moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. By that time Larry had been at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church for seven years. Through the Steads joining the church, the men became friends, and Jerre served on the governing body as an Elder. Larry was on a two-week study leave when the idea came to him that the two of them should write a book comparing success in the church and in business.

Larry brings to the workshop several years of experience as a pastor. A graduate of Muskingum College, New Concord, Ohio, and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh, Pennsyulvania, he has a Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Tehological Seminary.

Jerre Stead brings many years as a CEO and board member of major corporations throughout the world. In his business acumen he brings an alaysis of what makes a successful entrepreneurial venture.

A graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in business administration and Harvard University Advanced Management Program in Switzerland, Jerre spent 21 years at Honeywell, In. in various management positions in the United States and Europe.

In 1987 he was named president and CEO of the Square D Company. He went on to be CEO at AT&T Global Business Communication Systems, Legent Corporation, and Ingram Micro.
